General & Program Volunteer

General Volunteers are the foundation of Equestrian Bridges. This is the first step required for EACH volunteer before they can progress to our other volunteer levels, it is a great starting point for anyone who wants to get involved, learn, and support our mission. No prior horse experience is required — just a willingness to help and a heart for service.

$40 general volunteer application fee | Ages 16+ (Valid DL)

What You’ll Do:

  • Assist with daily barn and stable care

  • Support basic office and fundraising tasks

  • Help keep our facilities clean, safe, and welcoming

​

What You’ll Gain:

  • Hands-on training in stable management and horse care basics

  • Opportunities to earn community service hours

  • An EB volunteer T-shirt as a thank-you

  • The chance to be around horses while contributing to meaningful programs

  • A pathway to more advanced volunteer roles (Session Volunteer or Advanced Volunteer)
