The Volunteer Pathway

Upcoming Volunteer Trainings:
General Volunteer Trainings
Your first step to becoming an Equestrian Bridges volunteer. Learn our mission, safety guidelines, horse handling basics, and daily volunteer expectations.
No prerequisites. Open to all new volunteers.
Advanced Level 1 Vol. Trainings
Build confidence working directly with our therapy horses. Learn haltering, advanced grooming, leading, and basic horse care.
Prerequisite: Must have completed General Volunteer Training.
Session Volunteer Trainings
Learn to safely assist instructors during therapeutic riding lessons as a horse leader or side walker.
Prerequisite: Must have completed General Volunteer Training and Advanced Level 1.
Advanced Level 2 Vol. Trainings
Expand your horsemanship skills through groundwork, tacking, and preparing therapy horses for sessions.
Prerequisite: Must have completed General Volunteer Training and Advanced Level 1.
Advanced Level 3 Vol. Trainings
Ride and help warm-up therapy horses for sessions and lessons.
Prerequisite: Must have completed General Volunteer Training, Advanced Level 1, and Advanced Level 2.

Corporate & Team Volunteer Days
Bring your team to the stables for a hands-on volunteer experience at Equestrian Bridges. Groups can help with horse grooming, barn and stall cleaning, and special projects tailored to your team. It’s a meaningful way to build teamwork while supporting our horses and mission.
