Dusty In Loving Memory

For more than 10 years at Equestrian Bridges, Dusty was an exceptional Therapy Horse who helped shape our herd and our mission. He was the horse that participants, volunteers, and instructors trusted most—a steady, patient partner who seemed to know exactly what each person needed.

Dusty carried countless riders through life-changing milestones. He was there for first rides, first leads, first trots, and first canters. His calm presence gave confidence to nervous riders, his gentle nature built trust, and his willingness to serve helped create meaningful connections between humans and horses every single day.

Known for his beautiful pearly-white coat and his easygoing personality, Dusty was truly one of a kind. Nothing rattled him. Whether working in a lesson, meeting someone new, or simply standing quietly beside a participant, he brought a sense of peace and comfort to everyone around him.

After retiring from therapeutic riding, Dusty spent his final years exactly as he deserved—grazing green pastures at the Equestrian Bridges Retirement Center, surrounded by his closest companions and cared for by the people who loved him most.

Dusty touched countless lives throughout his years of service. His impact extends far beyond the arena and will continue to be felt for years to come through the confidence, courage, and joy he helped inspire in others.

He was more than a therapy horse. He was a teacher, a trusted partner, a gentle guide, and a dear friend.

Thank you for everything, sweet Dusty.

Your hoofprints will remain on our hearts forever
