Meet Newt — Our Movie Star
Hi, I’m Newt! They call me the movie star around here!
You may have spotted me on screen — I made my debut as an extra in Lonesome Dove. After that, I walked the Trail of Tears with my good friend Cowboy Phil Moore, who later donated me to EB so I could continue making an impact in a new way.

Now, I’m proud to call Equestrian Bridges home, and I’m thrilled to have landed such a special “role” where I get to shine every single day.

At EB, my routine includes spending time with my best buddy Frosty, getting pampered by volunteers, and helping kids learn to ride. I’m known as the calm, forgiving teacher who helps new riders build confidence and feel safe around horses.

Whether I’m getting loved on or giving the love, I’m always ready for whatever the day brings.
Come meet me at EB — I can’t wait to say hi!

Meet Apollo — The New Guy
Apollo is a four-year-old palomino Quarter Horse gelding who traveled all the way from California to begin his journey as a therapy horse here at Equestrian Bridges.

Standing 15 hands tall, Apollo’s golden dappled coat and creamy white mane and tail turn heads wherever he goes — but it’s his temperament and training that truly make him special.

Apollo is fancy-trained with all the buttons, setting riders up for success from the very first ride. He has done it all — from trail rides and parades to roping and more — and nothing seems to phase him. His calm, steady nature makes him a perfect fit for our program.

Apollo is currently in training to become an EB therapy horse, and we are so excited to watch the impact he will make with our riders.
Welcome to the bridge, Apollo
