Therapeutic Riding
Sessions built around each rider's physical, cognitive, and emotional goals, led by certified instructors and equine specialists.
About Therapeutic Riding
Our team of therapeutic riding instructors, mental health professionals, and equine specialists builds a custom curriculum for every rider, then works alongside them toward their goals.
Every rider starts with a one-time initial assessment so we can match them with the right horse, the right team, and the right plan.
How riders benefit
- Gross and fine motor skills, balance, and core strength
- The rhythmic, three-dimensional movement of the horse, similar to a human walking gait
- Attention, focus, and following directions
- Confidence, self-esteem, and emotional regulation
- A meaningful bond with a horse, volunteers, and staff
