Reins Program
Equine-assisted support for teens facing trauma, behavioral or emotional turmoil, or involvement with foster care, juvenile justice, or child protective services.
About Reins Program
The Reins Program serves teens in Northwest Arkansas who are considered at risk for behavioral and emotional turmoil, are experiencing trauma, or are involved in the juvenile detention, foster care, or child protective systems.
Participants receive support through an Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies (EAAT) program. Working with a horse gives teens honest, judgment-free feedback and a safe place to practice trust, communication, and self-regulation.
